Since your goin all out put at least some 20x12s on it.

 

Yea that is what I am thinking I might have to do. It is just that 18in wheel tires are cheaper than 20in wheel but I guess 25-50 bucks a tire difference at 500 bucks a tire isnt really a deal breaker especially when I will have to regear and do all of the supporting mods for the front end to hold up. where I wouldnt have to with a smaller tire.

 

Ya, at LEAST go with a 20" wheel... I'd even recommend going to a 22...I've got 24s on 40s and would never go anything less than that again...

 

I am a fan of taller side walls than wheels. A 20in wheel would be the largest I would go.

 

My real question here is should I really go with a 12in wide wheel or can I get away with a 10in wide wheel??

 

One other question. What is the factory backspacing on the 06 18in wheels? not a dually.

 

get a 20x9 u can stick a 12 inch wide on it

 

No I would like to stick a 15.5in wide tire on a 10in wide wheel if I can.

 

do it, it should fit mine are 12 or 13 and they fit good on 20x9... but im a fan of 18s so the best of luck to ya

I ran 38x15.50's on 16x10's forever and they did amazing!

I would definitely recommend that combo!

325/60/20 my truck is still in the shop has toyo at open country ill post some when i get it back around tuesday. they are 35s not 38s. I have 3.73s so thats as big as i wanted 2 go.. I would look at nitto mud grapplers. toyos are around 500 a tire for my 35s I think thats high.

I think I'll be going back around 5 or 6" in a little while. I have some 4" shackles and hangers, and some 2.5" ones. Plus add-a-leafs and mini spring packs laying around. I think I could be happy with my 4" hangers and shackles and leveling kit with some 3" blocks.

If you are gonna do a 38x15.50 i would go with a 20x12 wheel. I had that setup on my 03 and it was perfect!!!!! Zero rubbing at all, not even on the leaf springs at full turn!!

 

How big of lift looks like 10in?

 

it was around a 10 or 11

 

With some triming i wonder if i could clear this setup on a 8in lift?
