What size injectors

I want to get bigger injectors. I will probably be buying some bigger injectors around July or August after I get a BTS trans. I want to know what size would be the best for me.

I just want a little more power, but don't want to have to do a ton of supporting mods. What size injectors would be safe to run with everything else being stock. I will probably be getting a better hpop within a year also.

Thanks.

Do you plan on staying with a stock turbo?

Everything else staying stock then just like rob said go with stage 1's.

i agree with a stock turbo stay stage one! Also a 1.0 exhaust housing and the wicked wheel is good idea.

His truck already has a ww just installed it a few hours ago actually.. He will eventually have a bts and reg return fuel system.. Drew go with stage 2s or a set of 238s they will both be detuned a bunch... Also Cale will be tuning the truck very soon not bill.

Well hell he just got done saying the truck would be stock other than the injectors and now you are saying he is upgrading the trans and installing the ww and installing a chip and a regulated return system. That is by no means staying stock. You better get gauges and throw away the turbo you just worked on cause it won't last behind the 2's let along hybrids. Better do an exhaust if you haven't done that already. Intake as well.

YUP and 3 hours after your initial post, there isn't much left that is stock anymore. LOL

Might as well just do it right and get some 238's to go with that 38r and reg. return.

There are enough stage I's for sale in the classifieds already.

You'll need a trans...... :hehe:

work.. those things are not need for a 400hp truck imo.
It's always good insurance.... I know I can push up to 35psi boost on stock injectors. Much more than that you would need headstuds.

And the bp @ 35psi could eventually cause some damage on the top end so for a few hundred more pushrods and valve springs would be a damn good investment.

Just my .02....

He did say he just wanted a little more power didn't he?

brian and cale both have 530 hp daily drivers with not a thing done head stud or valve spring wise.. with good tuning he doesnt need those things for what he does with it and how he drives. im not sayin its not a good investment but i dont think he needs them.

That's a waste of money in my opinion.... 20 whopping cc's and stock nozzles....

For the price of hybrids these days you can't go wrong. They can easily be de-tuned and they are there for when you really want to get on it.

238/80's would be a good injector for you IMO.... If you plan on getting a 38r later on then they will work great together. You can't go wrong with that combo.
