Hi guys,
I am experiencing a wierd rattle when going over bumps on the road. But it doesn't make this sound all of the time, only when the bumps and speed is significant enough.
As a result, I retourqed my lug nuts as well as my caliper bolts, and tightened a number of things underneath the hood. But I am still experiencing the same sound under the same conditions.
It sounds like it's coming from the driver's side and you need to have the windows down to really notice it. I intend to go underneath the truck to further investigate, but it could be just about anything and want to narrow it down a little at least.
I read a post today about another member experiencing something similar. It was suggested that it could be the leaf springs which could be clattering when going over bumps. But it sounds like it's coming from the front end..
Thoughts...
