Turn Signals Wont Cancel

Well I have an 11 F450 Lariat, about a two months ago I park the truck to go into a store. When I come back out to start the truck the steering is dragging and the airbag light is on.

So I replaced the clock spring and now the self cancelling turn signals don't function at all. Everything else in the steering is working fined, including all other electronics.

I can't seem to find out from anyone where that function is performed? In the clock spring or some other area of the steering system.

Any help is greatly appreciated

There is a sensor behind the clock spring, steering wheel rotation sensor. It plugs into the Steering Column Control Module. It is used to cancel the signals. We had an 11 F550 at work signals wouldn't cancel, turns out they forgot to install that part from the factory. 3F818 is the basic part #, your local dealer parts dude should be able to show you a picture if you tell him to enter that number as a basic.

Thanks, I cant believe how hard it is to find any info on this and the local dealer (which I've had problems with in the past) will absolutely offer up no help.

Well I don't know how it is south of the border, but times are tough up here for mechanics like myself. Giving away info is kind of like giving away money if you know what I mean.
