Ok, i'm looking at doing this, cause next year, i'm going to be hauling alot more firewood. So, i've heard that this is rough on the coast clutch? I dont know much about autos, help me out please!
Thanks,

I have done it and love it. the TC lock really helps keep tranny temp down while going up and down hills with loads... and the EBPV brake really helps slow ya down

What brand are you running? I was also thinking about adding this set up to my truck.

Our trucks come stock with an Exhaust Back Pressure Valve for warming up- were talking about rigging that to be an exhaust brake.

Yeah, if your good with wiring you can do it yourself. There are also a few places that sell the harness to hook up the EBPV to a toggle switch to close/open it

i got mine from dp tuner for $45.00 and it works great. Not as much braking as a real exhaust brake, but for @45.00.....

I was pulling my friends boat that wieghts about 11000lbs down a 6% grade @55-60mph and had to turn it off because i was going to slow.
