Hi there I just got the SRL Tune from Matt at gearhead and was wondering is it comparable to Eric at Innovative Street or Extreme Street Tune. SRL seems very powerful and has great shifiting but seems to lack some bottom end. For example from a dead stop non boosted 2wd launch it only spun the tires for about 1 second and then took off, but the reviews for tune I read said it would spin the tires for like 3 seconds or longer and chirp the first 3 gears. Is something wrong with my tune or is this normal. My Tire size is stock 275/65R20 and my mods are afe stage 2 intake and straight piped stock exhaust with cat removed. And I did adjust my revs per mile to 590 and axle ratio to 3.73 on the tune. Thanks

So if I put some arp's in then it would benifit to get that tune? Anything different bottom end wise?

Is there anyway matt can change the tranny setting to hold the converter longer before it shifts down. Cause if I just barely get on it it will downshift. Iv heard eric has his tunes this way but I didn't know ifmatt could adjust it?

Mine was a fuel pressure problem on an innovative tune, the stock pump wouldnt maintain it. I was speaking in general, I can't count on both hands how many times I've done something to the truck just to see something else break a day or two later lol.

I think anyone running hot tunes should atleast have a FASS 95 or AD 100. Mine would just lay down with a race tune, now it holds a steady 65psi.

lol speak of the devil there is my tuner...lol...what is a "ipr"? If it was the fuel pump i wouldnt be able to hear it when i turned the key...correct?

yea the first time it quit...it took about 5 tries to get it to refire...then it ran good until i came to a stop at end of road...then it bombed out and i punched it and it went little further then said goodbye...lol

yea when i brought it in, they were already leaning towards the hpop. the dealer messed up when he told me my oasis report, the egr went out at 73000 but they DIDNT do anything with hpop...so like everyone said, the hpop was like a ticking time bomb...

Im running Matt's SRL tune on my 06 F250 6.0 and its very impressive, from a dead stop, and mashing on the throttle, my tires lite up and are still rolling white smoke threw 3rd gear...i have stock 265/70/17 street tires, but good tunes...

I have Matt's SRL tune and use it as my daily driver. From a stop I can roast the tires through second gear and chirp third every once in a while. But once the spinning stops I usually have to let off because the truck pulls hard and is usally 10 or 20 miles above the speed limit. The shifting is smooth and the power makes the truck feel like a suped up half ton!

I run the SRL every day. Dont have a problem blowing the tires out. (305\40R22) Shifting is really sweet when ya throw one of Dougs solenoids in there.

Been running Matt's SRL tune for over a year and a half now and freak'n love it. Need studs so I can really have some fun. You dont want tires spinning anyway that's wasted power and unwanted attention. I love to see those BullyDog trucks smoking like hell cause mine makes clean smokeless power all day everyday!!!
