SQUEAK WHEN TURNING TO LEFT?

My 99 F250 is making a squeaking noise when driving and turning to the left. Once the wheel is starightened back out it goes away. Does it most of the time when turning to left. Can't get it to do it when truck is on jack stands though. Was told it may be the wheel bearing starting to go out. No play as of right now though. Any ideas or what else to check?

prolly a wheel bearing... both of mine just got replaced. no play that i could tell but they where dry and grinding some when it was jacked up...

could also be the u-joints in your front axle shafts

If the or a u-joint is bad on the axleshafts it would squeak full left and full right or lock to lock. Atleast with my experience with them. Psd's were my big money maker at my last job. But it could be, jack the truck up turn the wheel all the way to the left and turn wheel slow and feel for any hang ups (sticking u-joint).

The ball joints are tight. No play in them. The u joints do not spin becasue the hubs are free. And even if I lock them in the sound does not change. Don't think it could be u joints.

Any other ideas. I can't get this fixed. Still no play anywhere but still squeaking.

Bump. Still no play in front and don't want to just replace parts especially a $400 hub. Could it be a rear drive shaft u joint cause the rear one on my rear drive shaft squeaks a little with rear end jacked up and spinning tires.

Parts houses sell good ones for a lot less. I'm getting both of mine replaced, along with the rear bearings, rotors and brakes all the way around.

I have a similar problem in my 2001 stroker I don't think it's in my front end I had my buddy at pasta diesel look at it he said the front end is strong. Now my exhaust is loose could that be the culprit? If not what could cause a dry grinding noise (very quiet) or a minor hop feeling when turning. It's fine while going straight.

Do you feel the vibration through the seat or the steering wheel? I was feeling a vibration through the seat in mine and changed my rear diff. fluid. That cleared it up. I also changed the arms out on the torsion bar back there,

Mainly in the seat but somewhat in the steering. A buddy of mine said his did something similar and they had to grease something in the rear and it stopped but that was on a 6.0 mine has a mag hytec rear pan and full bts tranny thanks for the advice ill mention that to him.
