The long anticipated update is finally available! Matt got everything updated to the website over the last 2 days and Mick got the links up this afternoon/evening. To update your tuning files, log-in to the website and go to "Update Tuner" on the right side of your screen under "User Menu." If anyone has any difficulties with this, please email Mick at tech@spartandieseltech.com. Also, I am available to answer any questions that I can here in this thread, through PM, or through email.

What this update includes:

*275HP Tune added to Level 1 tuning (free for all users)
*350HP Tune added to Level 3 tuning (free for all level 3 users)
*File repair to allow EGR cycling with no EGT sensors
*3.55 Gear ratio converter lock scheduling lowered to address late lockup issues
*Recalibrated shifting on 250HP, 275HP, 300HP, and 310HP tunes for more comfortable daily driving (on all Job build and year models)
*No-EGR files have been added for all users, both standard and Spartan TCM, for ALL tuning levels
*All 250HP, 275HP, 300HP, 310HP, and 350HP have cold weather surging corrected, entirely.
*Please note that this update is fully compatible with the latest Ford flash update.
*This update will only work with tuners that have already been updated to the "V2" software. If your tuner has not been updated, just contact our tech support and we can walk you through it.

Once again, if you have any questions regarding this update, please let us know!

Thanks,

Holy crap liking that, I think I'm level 3, when I bought from Rudy's, it came with everything upto the 310 tune. But here's the only problem I see with this....I like the firm shifting, do I have an option to keep the firm shifts or is the improved shifting still firm but not hard....if you know what I mean...

Ohhhhhh cool, should I just contact the store during business hours to get this???? Oh yeah, since I just bought this like a month ago, do I have the V2 software already??

hey spartan, how do i do this? i bought the truck about 6 months ago and still have not done anything about it, id like to update my tunes but i cant because it is not in my name...thanks for the help

no, just remove the sd card, save the old files in a folder on your computer then download the new ones and put them in the tunes folder on the sd card...do not rename the folder on the sd card or the dasdaq will not recognize it.

once you do all of this just load a new tune
so basically you take off the tunes, then keep the folder and then just load the enw tunes without changing anything on the folders...i already have loaded to tiunes on my computer since i heard about them getting corrupted and what not

for DD use the 310 is alot more driver friendly. Are there any major differences between the 310 and 350 tune? I tried both out yesterday and the 350 felt a little more snappy off the bottom but other than that they pulled about the same I thought.

I got the Updated files last night and loaded in the 300 tune. After driving around last night and to work this morning, I have a little feedback

Shifting: is noticeably better..much softer at light throttle. Still firm but, you won't lose your drink out of the holder while driving around easily. Gets noticeably heavier as your throttle input increases

Lockup: IS at 45 now, good when driving around town, bad when trying to get on the freeway...it seems that no matter what your throttle position, it will lock at 45. That seems/is pretty hard on the converter when trying to accelerate on to a freeway and it trys to lock as the power is really starting to come on. It may change with some driving time but, I doubt it. I did do a relearn

Power: Feels great at WOT from a dead stop, from 40, and from 65. Less touchy with the cruise control adjustments from the previous version as well.

Exhaust Temps: Seem to be better, It is much warmer now than the last time I ran it hard. I only saw 1450 on a 0-80 run and started dropping late into the run under WOT.

Smoke: seems to be less as well

OVerall: I am happy with this tune other than the converter is locking like a race tune when it is not supposed to be a race tune.

***Can you guys give some detailed feedback of other tunes you have tried please..thanks!***

I don't think that is true, unless something has changed with the new update. ...Jeff has been very affirmative in stating that the 300 tune is NOT a "race" tune.

ALSO TO NOTE ON THE 300 TUNE: EBP is a better was as much as 78-82, highest I saw was like 68
