Pretty much any 0-5 volt sensor can be added(temp or pressure sensors).

Do you have a sensor for the coolant or is it plugged into the OBDII?

its running through the obd port...... But according to everyone else it doesnt work.

Going to guess buy the temp numbers you have given it could be actually reading TFT and it is labeled coolant. Just something to ponder....

Does it show a PID for TFT already?

The reason I'm leaning that way is the PCM does have a PID's listing for TFT and not coolant. The sensor for coolant is only for the dash.

Just a huge mistery isn't it....

It actually shows two different trans tamps (weird I know) one will be like 120 and the other shows 120.4

It's backwards anyway. I use an analog input for water temp and oil is generally 3-5 degrees higher then water temp.:shrug:

I know on at least some of the trucks the Scan gauge displays a reading for ECT but if you look at the wiring diagram there is nothing connected to do so between the PCM and a ECT sender. I think AE also has or had that same issue in the past at least. I was also thinking that some manual trucks did have a coolant temp input into the PCM which someone else eluded to. I looked at a 2002 7.3 wiring manual and found this:

There is tons of different things that can be read. Oil temp. Icp, ipr, map, iat, rpm, volts, injector pulse width, and tons more.

They are super nifty little setups. My roommate let me borrow his for a couple days after i got my new turbo and I've found myself wanting one because of all the things it does.

I'm 90% sure the scan gauge doesn't read codes. That's why I got the torque app and blue tooth dongle. $25 out the door. But I haven't figured out how to read codes with it either.

At the moment I am just looking for basic readings, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, stuff like that. I am reading you can add on sensors so I want to know what the gauge itself does without the added sensor. The webpages are a little confusing they talk about all the stuff it doesn't but doesn't mention basic stuff much.
