driving along one day and my truck down shifted hard all the sudden. so i pulled over and checked the codes because of the towhaul light was flashing. i got p0706 and p0707. so that indicates the tss sensor is bad right? i have also hurd that bad wiring on the clutch fan can cause this. so i looked and the wireing looks good. my trans is a reman trans and has always ran hotter than my original trans ever did. 180 when its 90 out and my original trans ran 140 tops. i never pull anything. and thoes temps never change even if i tend to hot rod it. i can not get the codes to pop up again but the truck does this soo bad its not drivable under anything more that 20% throttle. it acts like its poping out of gear and going into neutral because if i hold the throttle it just revs up and bounces off the rev limitter. im stuck because not even my ae with ford package is telling me anything.

i can not get the trans to throw the towhaul flash light at all. even when it pops out of gear and goes into neutral. could it be the tr sensor? or maybe the speed sesnor on the rear axel? come on mark just in and help me man.

ok so to take the the trans range sensor off you have to pull a small pin thats flush with the seat of the pan gasket. its preaty much impossible to do. so i cleaned the pan and reinstalled everything now it acts like everything is fine?????im so lost with this truck? sensitive engine and sensitive trans dont work out to well for guy like me...lol

You have two codes that both say TRS, but are still randomly replacing parts? Why? Why you would replace speed sensors is a mystery.

I would check the wiring from the PCM to the TRS. Check it electrically, not just visually. If the wiring checks out, replace the TRS.

ok how would i go about checking it electrically?
