My overdrive button hasn't worked since the day I got it but didn't care because I never pull anything. Well the shift lever is also loose, I can moved it about 3/4" while in drive. I called the ford stealership and they said it could be the arm its self or a piece of metal in inside. Anyone done this before and have advice about it, before i got taking stuff apart? Thx

The arm is easy. If i remember correctly there are two screws that need to be tightened up... The od button is also easy, take the steering column cover off and make sure the wires are not severed or unplugged.
