That part number is not listed on that site - is that the # for the wheel? From what I know, you cannot get the wheel alone, only with the cartridge kit for $1000+....So that's why I was hoping someone has a smoked turbo with a good wheel.

Thanks for the offer Chris - I think we will be covered with the info that 444 provided, a close friend had a mis-hap with a stray band clamp that somehow ended up in his intake tube and ate the compressor wheel. There was no way he wanted to shell out the $1350 for a cartridge kit so I was making a bunch of calls this afternoon trying to track down a wheel.

444 is correct 729567-0001 is the p/n for the 88mm wheel it shouldn't be more than $125.00

 

Well - I called that place that 444 posted and they said they can only get the cartridge kit, no explanation for why they list the wheel separately on their site.

Anyone have another source using that part # ?

money? bet? like the sound of that!!!!! just kidding. i'll find out this week i'm having one built and a turbo from a s/d done. let you know. the p/n i got for the compressor housing is p/n 741460-0004 that fits the 88mm but i dont think it will bolt up to the backing plate.
