Hey guys! First post here. I'm going to look at a 2001 F-250 Extended cab 4x4 Powerstroke tomorrow night. The truck has an auto trans in it. Hasn't ever had a gooseneck ball in the bed or anything. Truck has about 150,000 miles on it. is there anything I need to look at in particular? He's had a six position chip on it right now. I haven't ever owned a Ford before but have always wanted a 7.3. Thanks for the help guys. He's asking 10,900. What you think it'd be worth? No rust, looks pretty sharp. TIA

Look for play in ball joints and hubs...may have to jack front end up put a bar under the tire and lift lightly...lok for play. Water pump replaced?, alt, orings on fuel bowl drain.
Ask if he has pmrs if he says no they are forged ask how he knows for sure.
