I have a early 99 F250 Super Duty (even though it has "Powerstroke" Badging on the door). I want to install the Garrett GTP38R Turbo on this engine
I have:
GTP38R Turbo Charger, Inlet Hose and Clamp
EBPV Deleted pedestal (taller one for the larger Dai. turbo)
I probably need and feel free to advise?
Spider Y pipes because stock y pipe manifold has smaller dia. on turbo compression housing, I was going to order the spider pipe kit for a 99.5 to 2003 engine
Up pipe kit for a 99.5-2003
Questions:
1- do I need a new down pipe?
2- are the exhaust manifolds the same from early to late? will the 99.5-2003 up pipe kit fit my manifolds?
I think I'm ok but would like to know before ordering more parts
