How to keep intercooler /pipe from popping off?

Yes, it sounds dumb, but ever since I replaced an injector on the passenger side (and thus, removed this piece of piping) I can't get it to stay on. It spereates from the blue membrane when the foot is on the gas and pressure builds up.

It popped off three time yesterday, and after I finally thought I had it on tight enough, it has just popped off again maybe 20 min ago.

Is there any secret to doing this? What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

Mine has popped off a few times. Comes off on the pipe closest to the turbo. One time the clamp actually broke and that caused it. I believe there is an updated one now. I used to use hair spray and that worked for awhile but the hose did eventually pop off again. I got on here and someone mentioned hitting the end of the pipe to create a flare or weld a bead around it so the hose clamp has something of a lip to snug against like the turbo side does. I have not had a problem since.

i have never had this happen, but was actually taklking about this today and i was told to clean the oil off the boots with brakeclean and when putting back on put a small amount of rtv inside the boot and that will creat a tight seal on the pipe and make sure your clamp bolt isnt stripped out

the type of rtv we use at work we get from napa and after its applied you can use whatever you put it on in like 5 to 10 min
