How many leafs in a front leaf pack.

Not sure if my 2000 4x4 has the right leveling kit. Seems the front leaf packs are saggy and they also looked to be bent weird around the spring pads.

Anywho, my questions are how many leaves are in a stock spring pack on a F250 4X4 crewcab?

And is there an add a leaf kit for the front packs?

There is only 2 in the pack.

So four all together counting the main spring and load spring? I have 5 all together. Guess it allready has the add a leaf and the are ready for replacement. They just don't look right being bent the way they are. Almost a "w" look to them.

You have 2 (TWO) leaves in the front springs, you add a leaf to the bottom of the stack. The rears have 4 and then a block and a helper, But thats if you have the HD suspension. I have a F250 with 350 suspension basicly.

The stock springs will actually have a sagging look to them which is normal as they have a negative arch to them.( Example) look at a 1996 stock front leaf spring pack that has a positive arch to it and compare that to a 1999 stock front leaf spring pack that has a negative arch to it. While traveling the positive arch spring will bounce from a positive arch to a negative arch and back to positive and so on creating a bounce and hammering effect. When traveling with a negative arch spring pack the spring will stay negative and sag and then go to a positive arch and return back to the negative state in turn giving a smoother ride as Ford tells us. Think of the positive arch and the negative arch for a moment and apply that to what I explained. Does it make sense? (Flame suit on)
In any event my stock 2000 F-250 has two front leafs and my stock early 99 F-450 has two front leafs. Some claim that a sag difference from right to left in springs and a replacement is needed. (And they will have a sag also because of the negative arch.)

well, mine has 3 leaves per side... Some sort of add-a-leaf? Maybe RoughCountry(sticker on the window when I bought it)?

My rig has a small lift. I am running 35" tires. The front spring pack has 5 leaves alltogether and so does the rear leaf pack plus the helper and blocks.
