They don't work on PSD's. We are "missing" some key sensors that make it functional.

 

You're thinking of speed tracer software for Auto Enginuity.

A G-Tech pro is an accelerometer? and works on inertia, it doesn't use sensor inputs that I know of, it should work on a bicycle.

 

Thanks thats something I didnt think about. But what do you mean? Doesnt it just run of of the cigarette lighter?

 

You looking at the one that only plugs into the cigarette lighter? Wonder how accurate those would be since they read RPM's from the lighter adapter itself. Gonna be tough since these trucks have such a low RPM redline.

If you get a unit that plugs into the OBD-II port, then it definately won't work on our trucks.

 

I have the one that plugs into the lighterit doesnt work on the 6 leakers it wont pick up a tach signal but on the 7.3 it works good I dont think i could really believe the hp and torque numbers but they are close as well my 1/4 mile times have all been within 1-2/10ths.
I like it and think it works pretty good.
