Well, no good deed goes unpunished. Long story short, lent my truck to buddy to go camping, and of course it ####s the bed. No power, hard start, HPOP issue it seems. Pulled the IPC plug and same issue. Hard start, (hot or cold) IPR duty cycle is high, 85%. It's an 05, with the upgraded dummy/stand pipes and fittings. I haven't been into it since all the upgrades (3 years ago) I put a new IPR at that time. So I guess my question is, what am I looking for as far as leaks? I haven't got my hands on the rig yet, as it's 16 hours away stranded. I'm on my way to it now, and wonder what I should grab for parts in the way. At this point I'm praying it's the IPR as the IPC seems to have no bearing, and working fine. Because if it's more than that, it's going to get expensive fast. Any ideas?

definitely need a really good monitor, but sounds like you have one if you've already got IPR%. and maybe a battery charger might help with all the cranking. and something to air test the system with.

anyhoo, if you trust the standpipes and dummies are still good, probably an injector oring. The STC fitting, is it updated? i think they usually they fail catastrophically and won't even let it start though...

If you're going to be re-ringing one injector, you may as well re-ring em all and re-ring all the nipple cup seals as well while you're there. But yeah, until you get some air on that system, there's no real way to know for sure where the leak is coming from.
