Ok so I did my egr delete about 8 or 9 months back because my coolant was disappearing with no drip spots on the ground or anything I took the stock egr and sauntered up the sides well I'm having the same issue again what could this be I used half a gallon of coolant drivin from Mississippi to Texas

It's probably leaking out of your degas bottle onto the exhaust manifold and evaporating

If its boiling in the degas bottle, more likely then not, have a leak somewhere. What are your coolant temps? Do you have the upgraded Degas Cap? The older version had issues with malfunctions, from what I read users would over tighten them instead of the stopping at the single click. I think they are supposed to pop at 16psi.

Did you freeze plug the stock egr? No offense to you buts its common to have them fail when not done properly, your better off just getting a Bulletproof Diesel EGR Cooler. Limited Lifetime Warranty and a great track record, good replacement if your state looks for it during emissions.

Well now looks like a good time as any to get it all buttoned up if your wallet can support it. Hopefully its leaking there and now out of the heads. Crawl under there with a flash light and see if its leaking there and pull the EGR valve and see if its gummed/wet.
