I have a 2016 6.7L (DEF). I approached my go to Ford diesel mech about a delete. I won't list all the items he mentioned to do it but it was a lot longer then the delete he did on my 2004 6.0L (non-DEF). He charged me a grand for the 6.0L delete but that included an oil cooler and radiator +.. For the 2016 6.7L he quoted $2700, ouch! What are your experiences with the cost of a 6.7L EGR delete?

Thanks, Friz

If your deleting the cooler and hes providing the tuning, that sounds about right, maybe a little on the high side.

Completely different setup from what the 6.0's were.

Thanks for the reply. The mech will be supplying everything at that price. EGR kit, tune, exhaust pipe, muffler, labor etc. Besides not having exhaust gas pumped back into the engine I want to figure how much "scheduled maintenance" I will save over say, 150k miles. I received a lot of unasked for push back on other forums for my question. Thanks again for answering my question.

I deleted and chipped my 2011 6.7. I paid $900 for a straight pip (4"), EGR blockoff it and H&S tuner. I did it all myself and removed the DPF system. I am getting ready to do the EGR blockoff because I waited to do that part. I am ready now. The kit was $140 (included in the $900 i spent 4 years ago. Truck hasnt thrown a code in 4 years now.

Hi. new to the forum and Ford. previous Cummins guy. Just got a 17 F350 Lariat Long Box. I am wanting to do a DPF Delete on the truck. Right now looking into the EZ Lynk with 4" down pipe back with muffler exhaust. My question is, do i NEED to get the egr delete kit, or can i unplug it and leave in place like i did on my cummins? is EZ Lynk the way to go? I understand the warranty void and so forth. still going to do a delete. 2017 f250 egr delete
