I think I've narrowed down my problem. Was running on the front tank, switched to the back....gauge went crazy and reads over full. Put fuel in the front tank the truck ran out of fuel. So I put 7 gallons in the rear tank but it only ran a mile at a time. I think the selector valve is bad. Can and how can I bypass this and run on the front tank only...?(

You might try searching efuel, I know there is something there about that when switching over to efuel.
The selector valve is in front of the front tank on the frame rail. There are 6 lines, a feed and return to each tank and the engine. They are a quick connect but if you remove the clamp on the line you can slide the quick connect off and replace it with a brass coupling from home depot.
Come Monday I will call the pick a parts. But its sitting on the side of the road so I was looking for a way to get it off the road
You can plug the rear lines but there is no telling if the selector is on front, rear or stuck somewhere in between. I would just pickup two barbed hose couplings and 4 hose clamps. IIRC it's 3/8" ID. That should get you by till you replace the valve.
