I think that their injectors is listed in the sticky post. As long as their aren't any unexpected costs with a rebuild it would be a good deal. Those engines are designed to be resleeved in truck, but if there are any top end issues like a warped deck or head it would need a trip to the machine shop. The top of the liner is designed to sit just above the deck to provide the primary sealing surface to the head, so the counterbore into the deck and thickness of the liner flange need to be checked before bolting the head down.

But hell, for $200 I would buy it just to take it apart

 

a 1990 dt466 is a mechanical engine and does not have the injectors I THINK your thinking about.

 

Exactly. That's why it has an Injection Pump, not a HPOP.

But, they can make stupid power.
