Sorry for the dumb question but, What do you guys do with the old coolant when you are flushing it and where do you dispose of it? Back in the day I would just let it run down the street or in the grass but that won't work for me now....

When I lived in San Antonio I would take it to the car care center on Fort Sam Houston or to O'Rielly's Auto Parts by Saint MAry's Univ.
Dispose of the old coolant properly and any of the flush you can capture and dispose it at a local municipal recycling center or landfill or most big chain auto parts will accept it or your local Grease Monkey/Jiffy Lube or a Gas station auto repair facility.

I have done this twice and it works.
Pay the local oil change place to flush with tap water it cost me 20 bucks here.Then you can drain it straight out with no worries.
OH I hate Kitties too especially when they make there home under houses and you have to crawl through it to run wire

Mine was easy, pump started pouring fluid going down the road. Stopped topped it off with water every five miles an a 25 mile trip to get it home. By the time I got home, I had pure water in the system. Just drained it all out down the storm drain. Changed the water pump and refilled with coolant.
