Mix Valor and Roundup together. Thats what we spray on our burndown on our cotton land. It works great. Valor has great residual. But once you spray it, don't disturb it.

But there is also Gramoxone, and Cotoran. But Im not sure if they are restricted use or not...

See if your local co-op sells SPIKE it will kill everything, perfect for gravel driveways . Do not get it anywhere near a tree (within the dripline ). It's what the electric utilities use to kill right-of-ways...

 

roundup works great. just don't mix it the way the instructions tell you, because they water it down too much for homeowner use. if the instructions say 1 gallon water, use 1/2 gallon. and add aspreader sticker to it. that will make it stick to whatever it touches. make sure when you spray it, that it is not going to rain for at least 24 hours.

 

I believe mixing with diesel makes it stick better to the plants. Ed E

 

If you can mix it with diesel then you know it's gunna work...

I just know that diesel/a few other toxic chemicals work, but that's as far as my gardening skills go.

 

Used vegetable oil. No kidding. It'll kill all that, isn't haz mat, and will help keep the dust down. Very common to spray it on gravel roads for just those reasons.

 

never tried mixing with diesel. the chemical box on the farm has 55 gallon drums of spreader sticker.
and real roundup too. not that 10% crap they sell in the big box stores.

 

Double the recommended ratio on round up and gramoxone and mix them. I used it in my lawn care buisness only had to use it twice a year.
