My 97 F350 CC with 85,000 on it just started running ruff today. Ruff idle and when under load. Never seems to clear up. I'm new to the diesel market so I know very little about what to look for. Any ideas where to start? I guess I'll start with the fuel pressure. I just installed a new fuel filter last week, good that have anything to do with this?

I would guess the under valve cover harness. You can unplug one of the plugs on the valve covers and see if it changes how it runs. There are two on each valve cover and each one controls two glow plugs and two injectors. If you unplug one of them and how it runs doesn't change you have found the problem area and then you can pull the valve cover and investigate further.
