EDIT: Just looked up the price of the BD Thruster and its more than the 38r haha Go with with is proven and get a 38r.

 

Yes there are two 7.3L Turbos that BD makes the thruster and the thruster II..
The thruster two is supposed to flow 40% more air, than a stock turbo..

they just stated making the Thruster II this year.. I just wanted to know if any one tried it..

if i am correct i believe the thruster 2 has a 67mm comp wheel along with the 88mm exhaust wheel . i ran a bd charger with 1.00 wg ats housing . on a set of 250cc and it was fun to drive and was not laggggggy like eveyone says but idk i played with the tuning on my truck so other tunes might be diff.. but shortly after i bent the shaft on the turbo ...i would guess from drive pressure being too high and over speeding the turbo from what it was designed to be balanced in . .but for the money i was happy.. if a person was gonna stay with a set of 200cc i think that they wouldnt have the issue that i did but wasnt as bad as what everyone says from my experience with it was good other then we were pushing it harder then it needed to be. and also with this setup the truck mad 512 @1033 on west bend dyno tuning dyno but take it for what its worth
