I thought I remembered reading a post on this but I cant find it. I think Captain Negativity had mentioned something on it...I know a 6.4 block is a twin to a 6.0 by looking a the outside...is the deck hieght any different or is it all in the rods, pistons and crank? will a 6.0 intake manifold fit on a 6.4? if so then the 6.4 deck should be the same??? anybody ever looked into this?

I'd talk to the guys at MPD, they seem to be doing some good stuff with both the 6.0's and the 6.4's
I believe FCDP is running a 6.4 intake manifold on their ranger drag truck. So i would think that a 6L intake manifold would fit on a 6.4
The 6.4 block is different in the webbing up on top of the motor. You can't interchange blocks as the 6.4 has no provisions for oil to feed the HPO system. The pistions, rods and cranks are not interchangeable as the wrist pins and crank journals are much larger on the 6.4. You can get it done but will take lots of machining.
The intakes and exhaust manifolds are somewhat interchangeable. The 6.0 intake will not work with the 6.4 twin turbo setup. The turbos will hit the intake.
