Ok so I’m in the very early stages of a zf6 swap and I’m just trying to get as much info as possible before I get too deep into this thing, I think my biggest question is the wiring, I know there’s got to be a way to use the auto harness (which I would like to do) but it takes some splicing (I think). I saw someone do a write up saying it was something like 4 wires that need modified but I can’t seem to find anything that specifies which wires need modification… If anyone has any experience or knowledge please let me know, any feedback is very appreciated, thanks.

First, your neutral safety switch wiring will be on the auto harness. That's two wires that need to be jumped back to each other and you will NOT have a neutral safety afterward. The truck will not start without those two wires jumped. Second, two wires will need to go to the reverse light switch.
If you have a transfer case, mark those wires for it.
