Seems like it has fuel pressure or does it actually? You may think it has fuel pressure and it may have None.

 

yeah did not put gauge on. could not hold finger over line. will find out this morning

 

fuel filters? might just be getting enough to run and sucks it dry and fills back up, whered u get your diesel at the usual place? could of gotten bad fuel

 

With all those new parts , did it get new filters? What's the voltage on your ficm? Is it sync'd. Done a buzz test on injectors? Hear your fuel pump whining when you turn over the key. Hooked a gauge up to test port on fuel bowl to confirm fuel pressure? Oh yea ....... Welcome. :ford:

 

Deff need to get a fuel pressure guage hooked up and are you sure you got high and low pressure oil? Have you monitored it?

What were the circumstances leading up to all these new parts. I mean , looks like ya just threw alot of money at it pretty quick.

 

injectors buzzing normal, fuel pump runs about 30 then kicks out.will check voltage this morning.

 

icp and cam sensor i carry just in case. ficm is what we thought the problem was

 

Iirc fuel should be about 50 psi

 

got 55 psi fuel presure,48.5 m volts,11.5.volts. 1300-1600 icp must be hpop????

 

Um. ... Not with 1300-1600 icp. That's more than I get cranking on mine. I'm at about 1000. Does your ficm sync when you turn on the key.

 

what about your ipr? because ur icp shouldn't be that high while cranking

 

That was my next question too. Your scanner should be able to see IPR duty cycle.

 

how do you check ipr presure? and what should it be?

 

ipr has correct reading,have to tow to ford!!!!

wiring harness on engine shot. giving false reading,icp presure was 380 psi not 1305. hpop gone.
