First time post, but i've used this site to fix all my problems so far, hoping you can help with this one... Driving home last night my truck started to accelerate quickly with almost no throttle, then started to gradually lose power then stall. Truck was programmed in SCT Street tune so i tried reprogramming to stock then Cranked it 5-6 times for a while over a 30 minute period and it was getting fuel, sounded like it wanted to start every few cycles, but wouldn't start. Let it sit for a day after trailering it home and it started after a long crank and ran choppy at first then smoothed out. As soon as it's in gear no throttle response at all then it stalls. I have an ICP sensor i'm gonna install in the morning, but when i unplugged the ICP no difference was made, if anything it was worse.
I have an Air raid filter, swamps 58v FICM with 80 HP programming, and an SCT Livewire programmer, fresh fuel filters, oil and filter change, transmission fluid and filters all within last 1k miles ran fine before even pulled 7k lb trailer last week
I'll update tomorrow what the icp change does if anything

Have you checked for a stuck open EGR valve? If you don't have a delete kit on of coarse.

Truck would idle fine for a while before i replaced the ICP in stock programming so it shouldn't be EGR. I use the SCT to disable the EGR and it ran no different. Fuel pressure is fine so pump should be fine. Would an IPR cause this?

Jump battery voltage to it and you should hear it click as it shuts.

You would need a scan tool to change the duty cycle while watching ICP to verify it moves correctly.

ICP was not oil covered and having the ICP unplugged did not allow the truck to start. Replaced IPR today and still no difference. While replacing the IPR i did not notice any excess oil on any ov the tubing running from the intake to the valve covers so i would assume no HPOP leaks, at least on the drivers side. Truck had a long start on ether but idled fine for a few seconds then gradually lost power until it stalled.
I'm hammered, sorry for any sp. errors

Oil pressure reads fine on the gauge comes up to normal pressure while cranking, only codes i'm getting is p2285 and u0155, tried unplugging icp, ect sensor, ebp sensor none made it any better. Only luck i had was when i hit it with ether. i'm out of ideas

LOL That gauge is just a dummy gauge. It will go up even when you have IIRC 15 psi of oil pressure.

As stated above the dash "gauges" are just fancy idiot lights. When you get yourself some REAL gauges you will see for yourself how USLESS those dash ones really are.

Where is the ICP sensor located at? My 03 f250 6.0 is having similar problems. When i start my truck up it runs fine but once it warms up and I pull up to the stop light or when I come to a stop its wanting to push 1000 rpms and eventually goes down to what it's supposed to be. I thought it was the camshaft position sensor, replaced it but that wasn't it. Also the check engine light is on. Any ideas?
