Had almost the same thing happen on my truck. Had the truck about a month and the clutch went out, got that replaced and i think it was a week later the problem your having happend. I ended up just trading a guy for his and he got back to me later on what all needed to be replaced and i guess the imput and output shafts were replaced and synchrods. i dont know about rebuilding these though never have but i wouldnt think they are too hard.
