Need some help, new to here. Have a 95 f350 7.3 single cab with a zf5. Pickup has had a few to many pasture rides and cab is about shot, have a nice 97 f250 7.3 single cab with the auto trans. I’m In the process of putting the zf5 in the 97. From reading on here it seems like you have to jump some wires and stuff to make it all work, one of my questions is what harnesses would I have to pull out of the 95 in order to not have to jump stuff around on the 97? I would rather spend the time switching the wiring harness than have jumped connections to worry about later on

So I switched the zf5 transmission into the 97. I used the manual wiring harness from donor pickup(95), also used the wiring harness from the starter relay back to the left fender that plugs into the pcm, installed pcm from manual transmission, jumped the clutch pedal switch, engine starts fine except while cranking the engine the windshield wipers kick on and I have no throttle response while engine is running, wiper washer fuse blows immediately when key is turned on, anyone have a cab wiring diagram?

The underdash wiring harness is different between 95 and 97. The wiring diagrams are divided into "systems", so basically you need the Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual(s) (EVTM) for the 2 years. Years ago I tried to figure out the differences (to help another person out), but never finished it (it's tough). Cheers!
