I went ahead and changed the fuel pump. I took the turbo off. When installing the new one I thought I rod might have droped when putting it bsck in but not to sure. I did not want to resk it realling falling out if I would tonpull it bsck out. Anyways I put the turbo back and went to crank it back up nothing would not turn. Then I pushed down on the clutch again and I got a crank.

I then took the batterys to get them checked. One was at 10v the other at 11v. Going to pick them up todau and put fuel in the fuel bowl and crank it back up.

My question is. Even if the rod from the pump would to drop the truck should still try to turn

I did not want to resk it falling out if it was still on .Anyways I put the turbo back and went to crank it back up. would not turn. Then I pushed down on the clutch again it cranked very little and stoped. I turned the key again and nothing no sound. But I did not put fuel in the fuel bowl cuss I thought the pump would do that.

Is this a OBS?
Yes 95 f250 5speed manual transmission
I was playing as round with my old pump I took out and the rod seemed like it was in there real good woulf have taken a lot to make it come out. And the new pump had some stuff in the shaft to help it hold.
I got my batterys and put fuel in the bowl and it started. Put turned it off cuss a oil leak .Ok I took everything back off. The rod from the pump did drop. I put the old rod in my new fuel pump. Fixed the oil leak now it cranked but won't start. Battery are being charged and going to re try
