Here we go again. 97 F-250, All electrical works, no power to the starter. Crossed the starter solinoid with screwdriver, got just a little spurt of a spark. All lights and interior are strong. Have not checked batteries yet. It just won't get to the starter.

BigBob52,
Starter may be getting current but be bad. Sparks near batteries should be avoided as they vent explosive gas. You can test more safely using a meter. With a meter check for 12 + volts at the battery terminal of the solenoid. If it's present, then check for 12V or more on the starter side of the solenoid with the Ignition switch in the start position. If there is 12 + volts there, the solenoid is working. This assumes your IGN switch and circuit is ok, your batteries are fully charged, in good condition and will pass a load test.
