will a bigger turbo help lower egts? with 238cc 100%

Hi I was wondering will a bigger turbo help lower egts. So I can stay in it longer. I have 238cc 100% with 38r and ww2. Its a SD 6 speed

Anytime you can move more air you will lower egt. You could try goin the t4 route with an s468. The 6 speed makes it a little more difficult because too loose exhaust housin (1.15) and it might not spool and the luggin will make egt high. Too tight (.90) and back pressure and egt will become a problem. With 100% nozzles, a 38r should be about to keep them cool. What's your elevation? Do you have big lift and tires? are you sure you don't have any exhaust or boost leaks. Lots of things i would do before spendin 3-4k on a new turbo set up
Leveled .33s . I can't find one I mean it as cool 8 when I drive normal but if I wanted to go all out on a straight way am hitting like 1350 and up if I don't let out

Nothin is goin to help in a race tune. Hell I could bury a 2000* egt no problem. Race tunes have a lot of fuel and lots of fuel create lots of heat. Its science.

Could it be my tuning bc I can hit over 1450 in the Eco tune...??
There's so many variables. If you are luggin around in 6th gear at 30mph then you can expect it to get hot. A tunin tweak could help but if you're out floor boardin it constantly then it's gonna build heat.
All my tunes I have a lot of smoke. In my Eco tune banging gears no lugging.shifting at or around3 grand by 3or 4 gear I let out of it bc am around 1450
I'm sure jonathan could pull some fuel out down low. Stayin on top of the turbo in a handshaker can be difficult though.
True. I want to data log for them so they can see what the trucks doing but no ones scanner can print or email so am I little stuck. Also last night I got into a little no more then 40psi for a very short time and m y over bottle pushed some coolant . but the temp gauge never move goin up big hills. And I parked it and let it idle popped the cap had pressure and no bubbles
What do you think ? Blown head gasket already

I have a 2000 manual with hybrids and 200% nozzles...

I've spent a couple of years dialing in the tunes...but have one/two tunes that you can literally grab 4th gear at 25mph...flat foot the pedal and have no smoke..as in zero.

granted..it's not pulling away real hard...but assuming your truck/engine/turbo are all mechanically sound...the tuning 'can' control an injector...with regard to smoke.

though..400%'s are still pretttty much a bitch to try to tune for a single turbo truck (for street use, LOL)...
No I have a ts golfer . yes everything is sounded am pretty sure I gor just just build the motor. Everything has 1800 miles on them. I would like to try different tunes. To see if that helps keep my egts in check and still be 500hp. And if anyone can help me with getting the right things so I can data log my truck and send to tuning places. Thanks

you built an engine for this setup?

what did you use for head gaskets?
I used an aftermarket one it was a 3 layer gasket my engine builder wanted to use BC his friends running 400cc on them no promble.I don't think it blow BC I still have heat . the level has not moved for 2days. And I have been pushing to 30psi and it has not done it again. I my have just put to much in. And after it pushed out it was only 1/4 from the min line. And golfer could I by chance buy one tune from you?
And yes I did built the motor for 450 500hp was my goal. I first got 188cc 80% built from a shop in town. I turn to you for a test tune and after it did the same as dyno proven . I pulled my injectors. And got 238 100 and that fix my no fuel and loww boost problem. Now am just see what are some ways to lower my egts BC I feel they are just a little high
when you get your heads to stay sealed, I'm confident that I have tuning that can control the smoke/heat.
