I don't think splicing the hoses is a big deal but that is a nice kit

it's cheap insurance IMHO

 

just sell the hose and make your own hose using heater hose from an auto parts store... and mount it on the frame

 

Im making my own coolant filter setup.. Once I get it all buttoned up Ill take a pic and include part numbers.. It should run you less then $50 bucks
