I'm talking best all around. Take street, medium Midwestern mud (not some Georgia clay), and trail ability into mind. Sound or cost isn't a factor to me. I will be rotating tires every 3000 miles. They are gonna be 37s 12.5 or 13.5 wide depending on what's offered for 20" wheels. Tell me which are best and some experiences with them if any. Thanks!

There's a great write up in diesel power last month on tires and wheels. I have toyo open country AT and love them have 40,000 miles on them and a lot of tread left. Ride well on desert dirt roads, street and towing my boat.

Another vote for the Toyo Open Country AT. Have 35s on 20" rims. Great ride, handling, and they last. Only time they make me nervous is when there is standing water on the road. They will hydro plane, but mostly they throw so much water, I can't see where I'm going unless I slow right down. I guess that is to be expected from such a wide tire. I don't mud or do much off road, so can't speak for that.
