You can get a "big head type actuator that is not Banks. I think the Banks one has a screw head making it easy to adjust. However another brand may be less $$. I have a big head type actuator I got from John Wood and works great. Perhaps he can ship you one. Once you adjust it as tight as you can you're done and no reason to go back and re-adjust so the screw adjust is really not necessary IMHO

Don't know about stock. The head with spring... on this actuator is larger than stock. The larger spring will hold closed with more boost.

If I am wrong someone chime in.

Hee Haw on the DP Tuner. You're gonna love it!

The turbo master is a good unit also. I think Bob Riley sells them.

Damn Mike, you are fast on that install. I was waiting for you to call me when you were ready to put it on.

As for the wastegate actuator, get the Turbomaster in the link Joe provided. I've got the Banks Big Head on mine but only because I picked it up used for cheap. There's no way in hell I would have paid full price for a new one. Plus the only way to adjust it is to unhook the rod from the wastegate arm and tighten it just like the stock actuator. At least with the Turbomaster you can just simply tighten the bolt on the front.

BTW, which gauges did you order?

with the DP and the intake and exhaust i don't really think that you need the actuator. Most people on here say You dont want the stocker going above 25psi, but with my DP Manages to climb past 30.

You can push the stocker past 25 and it will not blow... Its hard on it but it will survive most of the time.:D The nice things about the bigger WG rods is they hold closed at lower boost levels where the stocker is bleeding off a little.

I dont have all the answers by any means, i would personally follow what slow leak said, and get some tranny upgrades. ALSO don't put a chip in it with out guages... pyro at least

The stutter you experience from the mods won't be lost boost from the open barely open waste gate, it will be from when it surges.

not saying the wastegate change wouldnt be a good thing, i just dont think its the best thing.
