Seen this on CompD, so I added the ferd transmissions, and here you go.

There are two standard ratio sets for the ZF5's. Apparently one was a gasser model, but ended up in some OBS PSD's.

I put the "close ratio" (diesel) set in the chart, so here's the "wide" ratio's, in case anyone has one of those.

Wide Ratio
1st Gear: 5.72
2nd Gear: 2.94
3rd Gear: 1.61
4th Gear: 1.00
5th Gear: 0.76
Rev Gear: 5.24

2nd chart has 5R's.

Mods, if I missed this somewhere, this thread can go away. If not, might make a good sticky.

That is a very handy little program! however the gear ratios are differant between the obs and superduty transfer cases and it looks like you have them all at 2.72

Best I could do guys. I didn't write the formula that is making the conversion in those charts, but FWIW, it's about dead on for the 4R100 in my 3.73 truck.

That said, I thought SD's and OBS both had 2.73 transfercases, or something close to that...

Guess I better crawl under the truck and see if the tag is still there.
