If this dang snow ever leaves my wheels need to be cleaned and polished bad. They are polished aluminum and the winter snow and salt has not been good to them. I always used mother wheel polish on my stockers but was wondering what everyones thoughts were as the best product use. I was thinking about mother polish and a powerball.

Busch aluminum polish. You can find it at truck stops. My uncles use it on there semi's. It takes little effort to use, makes a polished wheel look like chrome when your done.

I noticed with the mothers I been getting that if i let it out where its over 45 50 degrees it gets really watery then I throw it in the fridge for like a half hr and goes back to its usual self. Im not sure if they changed the compound or what but years ago it never did that. Still works as good I just have to keep it in the basement or garage.

Use rouge compound and a buffing wheel. This is what the professionals use. There are different colors of rouge, white, green and red, the colors denote more or less cutting compound. If your wheels are aircraft coated, then you will need to strip the coating, polish the wheel and recoat. If you wheel is not coated then you will be fine. This is what companies like Shell and American Airlines use on their equipment to shine them up.
