Looking to change my oil and wanted to know what others were running in their trucks. Was looking at putting CASTROL 15/40 in mine.

Nice thing about Schaeffer's is the molybdenum package.... Moly is a hell of a film lubricant.

Either Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme with a few bottles of Lubro-Moly MOS2, or Schaeffer's Supreme 9000.

We love the synthetics.

I began w rotella, and now I'm running 7000. The truck idles better and picked up around 5psi of lube pressure.

I asked about the 9000, but the rep told me that 7000 was better for our trucks. I think it was that the 7000 had less shear?
