Let's say I had an OBS block sitting around to start a build. What are the differences in my block and it?

I think there were some minor changes to make a SD block stiffer from what I have come across as far as the block itself. There are several changes to front cover, oil pickup, etc.

ok, what would I need to run it in my SD?

I'll have complete takeout motor for all the "longblock" stuff. Do I need to change the oil pan, pickup, etc?

I think that all of your bolt on pieces should be improved designs so I would used them.
