Same with mine. All ready tinted.
The dealer is trying to give me some crap about not cleaning the window seals when I wash it, and that is why they are scratching.
Now how :lame: is that?
Why not just admit that the seals are a lousy design and be done with it?
I would still like to see the TSB on scratched windows if someone could please post it.

It is true i just got mine replaced no hassle what so ever and they were tinted too, Just got them retinted today darker! I also got a new radiator too.

I used to have a copy of the TSB but dont know where its at now.
 
So there is a TSB about front windows? I have noticed my driverside window has got a very slow spot in it going down. Its fine coming up but the passenger window and the back door windows will beat it down by a almost a second it seems like. Ive been wondering about this but Im just out of bumper to bumper with 40k on mine, is there still a shot at getting it replaced?
 
my only problem in 43k miles is that i've been losing coolant since day one radiator finally went out around 40k and after we replaced that i'm still losing a little coolant and none of the dealers can figure out where it is going ?
 
Just recently the radio in my truck stopped working along with the clock...the cd changer keeps going through the disks while the key is out of the ignition. Also, my tow/haul doesn't want to go on.

Did they ever do the recall on it it for the venturi set up? when my truck went on for the recall they had to relplace the radiator as well.
 
only prob i had was that i fried 3rd gear at 3k miles, prob my fault for driving like an a$$, new trans has 7k on it knock on wood, but i have a fully built Suncoast sitting at the shop waiting haha
 
man all this really has me considering the 07 and up duramax i really want to get something under 50k so that i can drive and not worry if my rear end is gonna go out or if i'm gonna make it home with out my truck dieing. i want something dependable and the 6.6 i havn't heard this much bad about.
 
Any of you been having a bunch of little stuff mess up on these trucks?
I've had mine about a month and every time I drive it, it seems I notice something else squeaking/broken.

Problems to date:
1. Tag lights fall out
2. Passenger side seat heater quit working
3. Really high pitched sqealing when I drive it, after it idels about 5 min.
4. Passenger side rear inner fender(little rubber piece behind the tire) fell off
5. Back seat sqeaks going over bumps
6. Cab lights flicker sometimes
7. Replaced a cracked DPF
8. Frontend sqeaks
9. Bed bolts worked loose
10. Light under the hood quit working
11. Headlights let water/dirt in
12. Back driverside tire wears unusually quicker than the other 3
13. Door pannels rattle
14. Radio volume goes up and down by itself every now and then
15. Had to replace almost every light on this thing at least once since I bought it
16. Both front windows scratched for no reason

Over all it seems like these things aren't the same quality as the older models.
WOW. thats crazy. ive got almost 40k on mine and its held up great. the back seatbelt clicks a little, ripped a couple I/C boots, and driver heated seat quit workin, and like every other 08 the radiator leaked but it got fixed. sorry to hear about all your problems. hope they end their...

It doesnt matter what year jeremy my truck has done both of those things and its a 96 :pointlaugh:

Gotta have the bumper to bumper or ESP.
 
My 08 Problems so far:
I had to get 2 radiators
rear ujoints(had it in there 3 times for the same problem)

the truck sits at 105,xxx all the problems were between 30-99k
