does anyone know what a1"x1"x3/4" module looking thing is it is located under the plastic engine top cover toward the right front and in front of hpop. it has a wiring harness connected to it and on one side it is somewhat transparent and you can see a printed circuit board. what is it and what does it do? thanks sure would appreciate help

If "in front" means it's toward the REAR of the truck from the HPOP, and "right" means the LEFT side of the truck, then that's the module for the WIF sensor.

sorry, should have explained better. from behind the steering wheel this item is located right front, above and a little right of HPOP. THANKS

It is a solid state switch for the Water-in Fuel (WIF) circuit. The WIF sensor is on the fuel bowl, driver's side below the fuel heater feed-through. Cheers!
