good service is when you under promise and over deliver. do what you say you will and when you say you will do it. know what your product is, how its used, its weaknesses, it strong points and how it stacks up to the competition. being competent and knowing when to make a sale and when to walk away. also if for any reason you are not able to deliver what was promised, dont focus on the excuse, focus on the solution and be prepared to accept the blame for a situation outside of your control.
