everybody is different, for me it has to be something i wont regret and something meaningfull,,not just a tat for the sake of a tat,,also not for impressing other people,,it has to be personal..and lastly something that fits your personality...iv'e seen guys sporting tats that looked severly out of place, placement on the body and what you pick ,,,ha ha stick boy sporting this huge narley dragon--what do you do...oh i work at wallmart.....other than that...you are the only one that can anser y-n...os for the cross in the pick...my oppion is it's too small, you're musculer make3 it bigger and put some intricatr tribal around it.....david

LOL thanks man!

As for the meaning, I have been a Baptist Saved Christian scince I was 10 yrs old, so thats why I have gone with a cross, I have been wanting some sort of tattoo for a while now, but def agree that you shouldn't get one just for the sake of having one, that it should be meaninful, and something that I can live with the rest of my life. i can see how ya'll say it should be a little bigger.

I'm not going all Holy on you but since you brought it up you might want to get your Bible out and read Leviticus 19:28. I'm not standing behind this verse because I have quite a few and plan on getting many more. I too am a Christian, but don't always agree with The Old Testament. I sure wouldn't get any Satanic or evil tattoos, and I don't think a cross is the golden ticket into Heaven, but if you want to get it that's up to you. That is one good way to express to people your faith, whenever someone sees it if they don't understand you can explain your belief in your faith. One thing for sure, make sure it's what you want forever because they cost alot more to take off and usually still leave a mark.

^^^^^ I was thinking along the same lines. This is the reason I wont get one myself.

That being said, I would never call out someone with a tat. I dont have a problem with it....just not for me. I have no room to throw stones for sure! lol

That being said, I dont think you will go to hell for having a tat....

I do like the design you picked out though.

I think it is a totally personal thing. If it is something you want to do, then do it. But, think of the long term and not just short term.

Being a girl for me it's a bit different, but I started thinking about being a 60 year old granny and having tats. Kinda looks silly then.
My husband wanted to get tribal rings around his biceps when he was in his early 20s. I told him that was fine, as long as he got Mickey Mouse on his butt (I like Mickey). He didn't do it, and now later in life, he is glad. He said as he gets older, your feelings change.
I have seen some pretty bad scarring on people who get them taken off.

But, that's just my personal opinion. It does look good on you right now.:D

I have a couple, have had for almost 20 years personally I will never regret them because they mark important points in my life and remind me of where I was.

I like your design, maybe even work that date in there from when you were 10.

If I get another it will be from someone that can do portrait's of my boys, but they have to be good.
