If auto the E4OD is a weak link if stock. If F250 4x4 the IFS front end will be problematic as it's a weak design to carry the 7.3, get a Dana 60 monobeam front end and a built auto tranny. Generally the F350 4x4 in ZF-5 manual is robust save for the stock dual mass flywheel but it can be replaced to single mass and you're good.
With that mileage the waterpump will be needing replacement soon pehaps the alternator too ask to see if they've been done. When lookin at it check the fuel filter if black (oily black) is an indication injector o-rings are leaking and need a rebuild. That's all I can think of off top o' the head right now.
