I found these plug ends and wondering what the hell they are for. They are located in the wheel well behind the mud flaps. Here is a pic of them

I thought those were plugs for the factory running board lights?

Front ABS on 4WABS trucks. They are left open on 2WABS trucks.
so what Thedieselman said I only have rear ABS then? Thats kinda weird that they wouldnt put ABS all around.

My truck is the same as your only has rear ABS I have always thouhgt that it woul have been better to put it in the front rather than the rear.

Is it possible to make the front ABS since I have the plugs for them? Or would that be just be a dumb idea.

Atleast I know what those are for now my ABS. I wish they were for running lights because the would be sweet to have.

if it had rear wheel abs, and those are behind the mud flap i would assume its in the rear wheel well... and those *should* be connected if it does have rear abs... or are those plugs in the front wheel well?

The ABS uses the VSS to read the rear axle wheel speed. Rear ABS counter acts oversteer thats why its better to have it only in the rear than only in the front. From the mechanical aspect alone you cannot just put on front ABS hubs and expect to have 4WABS, there is no means to throttle brake pressure up front. :ford:
