The 03 Yukon XL left her stranded two times last week. It was time to go. Here is what I bought:

This thing is PIMP! lol It has a bunch of crap I havent figured out yet. (Navigation etc)

anyway, does anybody know how to disable the safety setting for the indash screen to where you can watch DVDs while in "drive"?

that thing is sweet! i got rid of a burban for my superduty. if it was an aftermarket radio i could tell you how to do it. my geuss would be somehow tricking the truck into thinking its in park. probably a wire you have to ground out somewhere, or it could be way more complicated as in computer controlled.

thats what i was thinking, but i know alot of the new ones have all that extra garbage that runs through the head unit...for example airbags and such. try going to www.fullsizechevy.com and look around there

Honestly...I think my wifes raggedy 03 had more pep than this new one. dont get me wrong...it will go. just doesnt seem quiet as strong.

My sister in laws bone stock 6.0 4x4 excursion would spank this thing.

No matter though. I'm proud of this burban. It is indeed a sweet ride.
