Wastegate solenoid

Elkhunter, that is the wastegate actuator.
The red line is conncted to the Y pipe and feeds boost to the wastegate actuator.

The actuator moves the rod and opens the wastegate and relieves excess boost pressure into the turbine housing of the turbo and out the exhaust.
